Recharge your batteries with a relaxing and unforgettable holiday with The Ponderosa Camping & Caravan Site. We are a hideaway site that is situated close to all local amenities yet is quiet and tranquil. Within easy reach of local beaches and tourist attractions, either on foot, by bike or by local public transport.
We have provided electric hook-ups and toilet/shower facilities for your convenience to make your stay as stress free as possible.
We are a small, privately run campsite that can accommodate caravans, motorhomes, and tents. We are a hideaway site, perfect for quiet relaxing breaks close to many beaches.
Our Site at a Glance
We currently have 7 grassy slightly sloping pitches (and an additional hard standing pitch, just outside the field entrance, in times of bad weather) that allow us to accommodate caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Surrounded by a Cornish Hedge, the site has views of Carn Brea and the surrounding countryside.
The approximate size of our pitches are 11m x 9m which can accommodate the majority of tents, trailer tents, motorhomes and caravans. If this is not suitable, we can also accommodate larger tents with prior arrangements and at an additional cost.
The EHU points are in the centre of the field and as such, you will need a lead at least 25m long or you can hire one for a small cost.

Even when away from home, you can do your bit for the environment using our recycling point.

Additional Services
Opening Times
We are open for business All Year Round (except for essential maintenance).
In times of adverse weather, we may need to close for safety reasons.
Please contact us before arrival if you have not made a booking. During school holidays, we can get busy, although we will always endeavour to accommodate you.
Bookings
Bookings are from 11am on day of arrival until 10am on day of departure. If different times are necessary please discuss this with us when booking and we will endeavour to accommodate your requirements.
