COVID-19 Update
As of Monday 10th January 2022 we are OPEN for visitors.
We will continue to adhere to government guidelines to ensure our visitors are safe.
We will continue to update as and when is necessary.
As of Monday 14th June 2021 we are OPEN for visitors.
In line with the government guidelines, we need to ensure that we have details for you and, by extension, a way of contacting other members of your party. We require you to ensure all party members have the NHS Track and Trace app and use this at least once a day to Check In using the QR code. In addition to this, during your stay, please ensure you are socially distancing from those not on your pitch. We will be allowing day visitors however, they must use the QR code to check in on the NHS Track and Trace App.
The toilet and shower facilities will now be cleaned and maintained daily by us. If you you need additional anti-bac wipes, anti-bac spray and toilet roll, these are available upon request.
As of Monday 12th April 2021 we are open for visitors.
We have had to make some changes to the way we are operating; these changes are to keep both us and yourselves safe and must be adhered to.
When you arrive, please DO NOT come to the bungalow; make your way to your allocated pitch and give us a wave. The pitch markers are to the left-hand side of the pitch (as you look at them) and you can use the space to the right of this as you wish but you must ensure that you can socially distance from your neighbouring pitches. You can email or text us, on arrival if you feel you want to.
During your stay, please ensure you are socially distancing from those not on your pitch. We will not be allowing day visitors for the foreseeable future to ensure minimal risk to your party, others on site, and ourselves. Your pitch is only for your party members.
As we have non-communal facilities; these are able to be used by the public in the latest government guidelines. The toilet and shower facilities will not be cleaned by The Ponderosa and if you decide to use the facilities this will be at your own risk. You will be responsible for cleaning these before and after use, if you decide to use the amenities. There will be anti-bac wipes available, but this is only as a courtesy.
Hand sanitizing stations have been put up near the areas you will need; drinking water, water disposal points and the toilet/shower area. Please use these whenever possible.
